I don't know what to do with this 'website'

It's just a bunch of pictures and there's no blog or anything.
I rarely update it because i made it (about 5 or more years ago) with free software which i don't really like.

The site gets over 100 visitors a month but nobody has ever emailed me with feedback. NEVER! But some kind friends say they like it.

There is now a naldo facebook group - where, in a way, we are all naldo.
well it's only three of us - me*, Rose and Peter at the moment, but anyone is welcome to become an administrator. it's an experiment in wasting facebook's bandwidth. here's a link to the page: LINK  (new window or tab)

* More about me: I'm Donald, hence the name naldo, although nobody calls me that except archie, and maybe sometimes ... no, that's it. I would tell you more about the others, but i'm not sure who's reading this and what i should say. Some people 'journal' in public, some in private (sorry about verbing that noun there, by the way) and some leave their journals lying around. I had the idea to learn Word Press or something, and do some writing. but mostly i just post photos, and the occasional music thing on youtube LINK

Kate's dress fabulous!! etc. See, i could do a blog. Blog on naldo. It's sort of beneath me, though. Perhaps i will elucidate you all on the meaning of life.

I'll write it out later (the MoL) and post it HERE. In the meantime, I'll just try to get this page added on a grey background, from a link on the home page. Should only take an hour or three. But i've got a fish pie and radio three, so things are looking up.

Later the same day...
well that all seemed to go well.

Roses in a vase, just a wee photo to brighten up the page. I'm now wearing Lucida Sans, which might be quite sophisticated. I'm listening to modern classical music live from the barbican, so i think that says it all really in terms of how sophisticated and with it this whole thing is. (update: have used an e e cummings poem on the right but only because i wanted something light to fill up vertical space and the shape of the poem occurred to me. I do get points for poetic loveliness, though, don't i? It's just occurring to me that this feels different to writing on facebook. Nobody else owns it, for a start - for less than 30 pounds a year easyspace.com do hassle-free hosting, and it's made with freeware. I've been using Q10 text editor recently and quite like it, oh what the heck here's a link, just because i can
